William Griffith I have been unable, so far, to find an indictment.
In Hereford Journal Wednesday 22 April reporting the Session it states that William Griffith and Thomas jenkins burgled the house of Mary James of llangendeirne whom they beat and assaulted and stole 10/-.
In Hereford Journal Wednesday 14 May, reporting the escape and recapture of Thomas Jenkins. he is said to have been executed Saturday 18 April on the same tree as his father, who was hanged about 7 years earlier for a murder committed 7 years before (see Griffith Rowland 1783). Based on that the burglary was at the house of his aunt in Coedgain.
