William Green, aged 29, and Thomas Ward, aged 21, found guilty on an indictment for the highway robbery of Lucy Hogg in the parish of Writtle on 5^th April 1787: robbing her of a silver 6d, 8 copper half pennies and 1 copper ¼d.
