Thomas Spencer found guilty on an indictment for stealing 28 yards of silk ribbon (valued at 5/-), 16 yards of silk ribbon (valued at 7/-), a pair of worsted stockings (valued at 2/6) in the night time from the booth of James Bloomfield at the fair in the parish of St Giles, Colchester on 5th July 1791.
