Zsiga Pankotia murdered Eli Myers 50 after he had won £1275 on the football pools.
He went to his house to burgle it but Eli returned early and they had a fight in which Eli died.
At his trial Zsiga Pankotia claimed that Eli could well have died from his weak heart and not as a result of the injuries inflicted by Zsiga Pankotia, however, the jury decided that he was guilty and he was hung.
