Samuel White and John Hitchcock found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of William Harrington in the parish of Great Tey on 18th February 1755: stealing therefrom 2 guns (valued at 20/-), a silver spoon (valued at 2/-). 100 gold guineas, 4 foreign gold coins (each with a value of £3.12/-) and 26/- in money numbered.
