Thomas Nunn and John Hall (otherwise Rich) found guilty on an indictment for the highway robbery of James Linwell in the parish of Hornchurch on 20^th September 1749: robbing him of a grey mare (valued at £3), the property of John Wood; of a leathern mail (valued at 20/-) and 12 leather bags (valued at 12/-), the property of the King.

After execution their bodies were hanged in chains on Harrolds Wood Common near Rumford Gallows. Possibly hanged at the same place.
