Charles Cox (otherwise Baconface) found guilty of the highway robbery of Joseph Parsons in the parish of Sandridge on 13th December 1740: robbing him of a gold foreign coin (valued at £3.12/-), 4 Portuguese gold coins (each valued at 36/-), 9 gold guineas, 3 gold half guineas and £16.9/- in money numbered.
