John Jones (otherwise Thomas Phillips) guilty of being found at large in the kingdom having been tried at the Old Bailey on 16th October 1782 for stealing 96 yards of linen (valued at £5.11.6), 35 yards of printed linen (valued at £2.9.7), 28 yards of printed cotton (valued at £3.4.2) and 9 ells of linen (valued at 3/9) the property of Arthur Rock, in the parish of St Mary Islington on 26th September 1782; found guilty and sentenced to be transported.
