John Stephens of Michael Church & William Smith of Huntington, Herefordshire in the parish of Gladestry on 23 April 1739 at night assaulted William Price beating and kicking him with hands, feet and staves of which he languished and died until 10 May when he died (WALES 4/519/1). Guilty verdicts. Probably hanged. ?
