John Davies (otherwise Ingram) guilty of sacrilege in burglariously entering the parish church of Meifod, Montgomeryshire on 28^th November 1773; and stealing therefrom a silver chalice (valued at £10) and a linen surplice (valued at 5/-) - the property of Charles Jones and John Williams, parish wardens.
