Joseph Gorton, aged 28, guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Mary Cox, widow, in the parish of Rowley Regis on 18th January 1789: stealing therefrom a pair of shoes (valued at 2/-), a linen shirt (valued at 4/-) and 4/- in money numbered - the property and money of Joseph Cox; and 21 gold guineas and 1/- in money numbered - the money of Mary Cox.
