Edward Perry guilty of being found at large in the Kingdom having been tried at the Staffordshire Assizes on 5^th August 1740 for stealing a black gelding (valued at 40/-) in the parish of Wolverhampton on 9^th September 1739; sentenced to death but reprieved on 11^th February 1741.
