Martha Baker, aged 24, and Henry Symonds, aged 39, found guilty on an indictment for the murder of Elisha Cook by throwing him from a second storey window of a house in King Street in the parish of St George the Martyr, Southwark on 1st July 1783 as a result of which he died on 4th August 1783. They were ordered for execution on Monday 25th but were respited until e following day.
