Robert Saxby found guilty on an indictment for the murder of Anne, wife of Wiliam Saxby, cutting and stabbing her on the right side of her neck and the middle of her throat with a knife, in the parish of Wotton on 25th May 1759. He was ordered to be executed on Monday 13 August and afterwards his body to be dissected.
