Richard Coleman of St Saviour, Southwark, found guilty on an indictment for the murder of Sarah Green, widow, in the parish of St Mary Newington, by assaulting her on 24^th July 1748 and wounding her so that she died on 19^th September. He was afterwards found to be innocent of the murder for which 2 others were hanged on 6 September 1751.
