Richard Allen found guilty on an indictment for a burglary in the dwelling house of Jane Graham, widow, in the parish of Wisborough Green on 1^st October 1740: stealing therefrom 50 ells of Dowlas (valued at 50/-), 20 ells of Holland cloth (valued at 40/-), 20 yards of Cambrick (valued at £10), 3 dozen pairs of worsted stockings (valued at 48/-), 1 dozen pairs of yarn stockings (valued at 24/-), 3 dozen hats (valued at £3), 100 yards of Calamanco (valued at £5), 30 yards of blue linen cloth (valued at 30/-), 30 yards of Dimity (valued at £3), 3 ounces of sewing silk (valued at 4/6), 28 pounds of tobacco (valued at 28/-), 28 pounds of sugar (valued at 14/-), 28 pounds of currents (valued at 14/-) goods and 30/- in money numbered.  He was found guilty at the lent assizes and executed ??.  No reprieve traced.
