William Cockburn and John Cockburn guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of John Ripley in the parish of Low Worsall on 26^th December 1748: stealing therefrom 1 yard of black Allapien (valued at 2/-), 4 yards of grey Poplin (valued at 4/-), 20 yards of Fustian (valued at £1.5/-), 8 yards of blue Allapien (valued at 16/-), 12 yards of scarlet Calamanes (valued at £2.10/-), 16 yards of woollen cloth (valued at £6), 25 yards of striped cotton Holland cloth (valued at £1.10/-) and 4 yards of blue woollen stiff called Cheny (valued at 4/-).
