Friday, 23 March 1787 (Cambridge Chronicle) John Moore guilty of the murder of his wife, Mary, striking and beating her in their house in the parish of Linton of which wounds received she died on 8th December 1786 (Cambridge Chronicle Sat 16th December 1786). Mary was buried at Linton on 12th December.
