Saturday, 2 April 1763 (Cambridge Chronicle) William Johnson (aged 20) guilty of breaking into the dwelling house of Mr John Cornell, farmer in the parish of Harston, by cutting a hole in the wall of his counting house big enough to reach inside and take a canvas bag and a green purse containing upwards of £40 in cash on 27th November 1762 (Cambridge Chronicle Sat. 4 December 1762).
