Charles Rose, aged 23, found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of John Bell in the parish of Kirby le Soken on 23rd May 1800; and stealing therefrom 5 lbs of bacon (valued at 3/-), 16 lbs of Pork (valued at 12/-), a pair of boots (valued at 10/-) and a pair of bags (valued at 9d) - the property of John Bell and a great coat (valued at 10/-) belonging to John Jones.
