James Taylor in the parish of Pool on 10 March 1800 counterfeited and forged 8 Bank notes of value £10 each with intent to defraud the Bank of England (WALES 4/196/7)Hereford Journal Wednesday 14 May On Thursday last was executed at Montgomery JW for forging and uttering notes on the Bank of England:  this unhappy man's sister was lately executed at Warwick for a similar offence.
